Sadly, this client had previously had a botched floor job done by another company, so Geocrete was stepping up to fix the issue and to give them the floor they deserved. The project was not technically challenging but it was very time consuming. Most of the house’s floor space needed doing and a large part of the area was made up by stairs. These steps had to all be ground and polished by hand, so the attention to detail for this project was enormous! Although it was only 150 square meters which usually means a relatively fast job, the steps took a long time because it was all done freehand and so the whole project took a lot longer than normal. Doing a project like this by hand is certainly memorable!
This client wanted a High gloss Geoshine Bluestone floor with a standard grey base. The result was brilliant, much better than the original job. Years of training and experience means I am an artisan and an expert in my craft so I have great instincts when it comes to floors, so I was not surprised when it looked great and really matched their home décor, the finished floor really brought nature indoors. All our jobs always turn out as hoped, and as usual the client loved the finished result and thought it was fantastic.
