High gloss Geoshine™. Random exposure, basalt with grey base and brown oxide.
This job was on a residential property located in a picturesque seaside town. The project was unforgettable because of the client’s dog’s reaction to the floor (which can be seen here.) The dog was a beautiful fifteen year old boxer and he had never seen floors like it. He was not allowed inside during the length of the project, so he was very curious about what was happening inside. His colouring looked very similar to the floors, so the décor of the house looked great alongside him- a very photogenic creature!
Although we cannot do smaller jobs such as coffee table tops or mantelpieces independently, they are not a problem if they are offshoots of a larger project that is using the same materials. In this case, the client wanted to have a hearth done in the same style as the rest of the floor, a High gloss Geoshine floor with a random exposure, and basalt with a grey base and brown oxide. It looked superb, the warm tones of the floor really made the place feel like a lovely home and the hearth looked great and can be viewed here .The owners really valued the look of the final product, and the dog was overjoyed to finally be allowed in on the excitement.
