High gloss Geoshine™. Bluestone with standard grey base.
The Bayport Group Head Quarters is the head office for a large construction company. This Geocrete project was a big one; it covered a large area of around 500 square meters. We used a High Gloss Geoshine Bluestone with a standard grey base for their offices, ground floor administration area and the foyer entrance.
The result was magnificent; the areas looked open and airy, and brought a natural feel into the office areas. Everything we did was on the ground floor, so luckily there was not too much heavy lugging of equipment and supplies that had to be done.
The building itself was architecturally designed so it already looked stunning, and it was a lot higher end than other buildings in the area. This made it a real pleasure to work with the building itself, and to make something that was going to be such an inherent part of it. Concrete floors always surprise people, but my passion and my experience with Geology insure beauty flows from the polished concrete to the surroundings.
As far as the technical side of the work goes it was a relatively standard job. We always provide the very best for every job. The company was very happy with the finished floor and everything went according to plan, with no notable hiccups or detours; the best kind of job is one without drama!
